nonstop. but i think i'm finally crashing.

whoooo-weeee. it's been a busy-busy-busy summer, but even moreso, a busy-busy-busy 2 weeks and i think my body is finally saying "STOP. i'm done with you."

well, good thing it's a day before school even starts. (if you didn't sense my sarcasm, i hope you do now.) bah-humbug.

let me write out a play-by-play:
- prepping for Ate's Grad was a good time. i enjoyed it. but i didn't sleep much, hence the exhaustion.
- family visiting means on the go-go for fun fun fun. which is awesome. but again, exhaustion.
- 1 week of training prior to school actually starting (which includes CPR/first aid --- i'm certified so i'm a step closer to saving your life if needed!--- going over new policies and changes, hearing the awful news that our school is in a financial crisis which is affecting our staff, monetarily and hourly :/ sitting through meetings and discussions upon meetings and discussions)
- prepping the classroom, which entails decorating, unpacking supplies and books, distributing them to student desks, cleaning desks, finding supplies, making copies, and laminating, etc. etc. (big thanks to Ate & Mia for helping us decorate 3rd grade! yeeesssss the window is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!)

and to top off the exhaustion - the weekend before school starts, i have to attend training for catechesis so i am certified and prepared to teach religion. saturday and sunday trainings from 9:00 a.m. until 5 p.m.

and now here we are, on a saturday night. the saturday night before the sunday before school starts.

i. feel. dead. nonetheless, i am looking forward to seeing my eager 3rd graders. (no sarcasm, truth be told).

but my head is swimming. i feel spacey. probably cuz i'm exhausted. but also probably because i bumped my head yesterday on the freezer door :( well, at least my student got a laugh out of it.

anything to make others happy... well, not anything. okay, i'm done.
